Position: Chairman of USNC/IECQ ECCC/IAB

Biography: Lloyd W. Condra is a Technical Fellow at Boeing Phantom Works, Seattle, Washington, USA. His experience includes microelectronics manufacturing and research in the telecommunications, computer, medical electronics, and aerospace industries. He chairs International Electrotechnical Commission Technical Committee 107, Process Management for Avionics, the TechAmerica Avionics Process Management Committee, and ECCC, and is vice chairman of IECQ. He leads the AIA-Pb-free Electronics Risk Mamagement (PERM) consortium. PERM represents all aerospace stakeholders, andit provides overarching strategic guidance to enable the aerospace and other high performance industries to respond to the global transition to lead-free electronics. Mr. Condra is the author of over 40 technical papers and three technical books. He is a senior member of IEEE. He has a B.S. from Iowa State and an M.S. from Lehigh University, both in materials engineering. He has been involved with ECCC since 1997. He is especially interested in the value that ECCC and its associated organizations (US-NAI, CTECCB, and IECQ) provide to the aerospace industry. As that industry becomes more focused on industry standards, it needs the ability to assess verification of compliance to those standards. |
